Set Boundaries

Do you find yourself tolerating a lot? Do people seem to take advantage of you? Do you spend a lot of time doing things that you would rather not do? If this describes you (it describes most of us), then use the following method to help yourself SET stronger boundaries:

Set the boundary

The first step in setting appropriate boundaries is to actually decide what your boundary is.

Enforce the boundary

Now that you have set your boundary, make sure that you enforce it.

Take Action!

Set your boundary, enforce it, and then, if people still try to take advantage of you, take action! Express what your boundary is, and make sure that you communicate that it is no longer acceptable to violate your boundary. Also, if it is something that you control, make sure that you put your boundary in motion by taking action on it!

Use the SET method to set boundaries for yourself, and watch your life improve!
