Creating Your “Ideal Self”
Have you ever wondered what your life would be like if you were exactly the person you want to be? Imagine how powerful you could be if you had no fears! How would things change for you if you were in the physical shape you want to be in, and your energy levels were where you want them to be? How about if you were actually passionate about your work? What if you were able to attract the relationship of your dreams? How would that change your life?
If this sounds interesting to you, I want to challenge you to sit down and design your "ideal self"! Yes, that's right! I want you to think about the person you would become if you were ideally who you would like to be. What would you look like? How would you feel? Who would your friends be? What would you do for a living? Where would you live? Who would be your soul mate?
By designing your "ideal self", you effectively determine who you want to become. This builds a gap between where you currently are, and where you want to be. Once you know who you want to become, you can start to set some goals and take some actions that can, and will, change your life for the positive!
My wish for you this month is to take some time and get really honest about where you are, and who you want to become. Dream a little, design the life of your dreams, and then go for it! You have nothing to lose. Even if you fall short, you will be a better person then you are today. And, you just might learn something about yourself in the process!
