Control – How Much Do You Really Have?
Have you ever wondered how much control you really have? If you are like most people, you spend a lot of your time focusing on things you cannot control, and neglecting the things that you can control. Usually, we try to control things out of fear. Here's how to make your fear work for you in a positive way, by shifting your focus to the three things that you can control.
1. Your Actions.
The number one thing that you can control is your actions. Start by setting some goals for yourself. Then, break your goals down into small, daily actions. By focusing your time on your daily actions, you will move in a positive direction. Ask yourself the question, "Are my daily actions pulling me in the direction I want to go?"
2. Your Reactions.
While you can't always control what happens to you, you can control how you react to it. To make sure that you are focusing on the positive, ask yourself an empowering question, such as, "How can I benefit from this?", or, "What can I learn from this experience?"
3. Your Beliefs.
The third and final thing that you can control is your belief systems. For example, if you believe that "money is the root of all evil", chances are that you will never make and keep a lot of money. Your belief system will sabotage you. Whenever you find yourself doing something that is taking you in the wrong direction, explore what your belief is, and then change your belief so that it empowers you!
By focusing on what you can control, you will find that it will make a significant impact on your business, and your overall life!
