The Rule Of 3
During one of my recent seminars, one of the attendees commented that all of the information that he learned in the seminar was great, but he was wondering how I have time to actually implement all the things we had learned that day. Maybe you can relate to his dilemma. If you find that you just don’t have enough time in the day to focus on things like growing your business, being proactive with your goals, or just taking time for yourself, perhaps you should implement, “The Rule of 3”!
“The Rule of 3” simply stated is this: you pick 3 things that you will focus on daily, over a period of time. So, for example, if you want to grow your business, simply commit to taking 3 actions each day. They can be very simple things like sending out 3 e-mails, making 3 calls, or perhaps knocking 3 items off of your sales to do list. Then, at the end of each day, give yourself credit for the 3 actions that you took. It’s that simple!
This may not seem like a big deal, but over time, it has a huge impact! For example, taking 3 actions today to grow your business may not seem like much, but if you stop to think about it, imagine what that would do in a year’s time! That equates to 780 actions over a year. Do you think that might help you generate more customers?
So, next time you find yourself not having the time to commit to a big project, or something really important, just implement the “Rule of 3”, and watch what happens! You’ll be surprised with the positive impact it has.
